Brief Bio

Dr. Erin Dawkins is a researcher in the Ionospheric, Thermospheric, and Mesospheric (ITM) Physics Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Dr. Dawkins' research focuses on detection and monitoring of both the Earth's atmosphere and lunar exosphere, using satellite and ground-based remote sensing techniques. Her work aims to better understand processes occurring within our atmosphere, including coupling of weather occurring at the Earth's surface to activity occurring within the upper reaches of our atmosphere at the boundary of space, as well as better understanding the lunar environment.
