NASA SED - The Attic

"The Attic"

Welcome to "The Attic", This is where we put "retired" websites that still have importance for scientists and the public. You can see the list of retired and archived sites below. (Jump to list of archived sites)

Why "The Attic" Exists

Sometimes a website shouldn't die.

After NASA projects end, there is often a need to keep important data or information available to the wider scientific community. This allows researchers to refer to original data during reanalysis, or look up specifications or results so we don't repeat mistakes or reinvent the wheel. Sites residing in the Attic are no longer maintained (their links may be broken) but their general content is of potential use to people inside and outside of NASA.

The Attic website is a Directorate-level service being offered and maintained by the Directorate Web Team. To move your site into the Attic, please contact the NASA Official or the Curator listed in the footer. Moving into the Attic removes the need for you to do annual STRAW paperwork.
