Dr. Yogesh received his B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from Delhi University in 2016, followed by M.Sc. in Physics from Kurukshetra University in 2018. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics in 2023 at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) and Indian Institute of Gandhinagar (IITGn), India. During his doctoral work, Yogesh investigated the variations in the alpha-proton ratio in the solar wind to understand the solar wind and solar atmospheric processes. He visited GSFC from October 2022 to January 2023 as a SCOSTEP Visiting Scholar. He joined Goddard Space Flight Centre (GSFC), NASA, and The Catholic University of America as a post-doctoral fellow in January 2024. His research interests include studying instabilities and anisotropies in the solar wind using PSP data, numerical models, and AI/ML techniques.
