Dr. Helen Amos is an Applications Scientist on the Goddard Applied Sciences team. Her role is to facilitate the use of Goddard research and data products toward addressing environmental health challenges. Her current focus is on climate, air quality, and natural disasters. Previously at NASA, Dr. Amos was the Science Outreach Lead for GLOBE Observer. She was in environmental consulting before starting her career in government. Dr. Amos received her PhD in atmospheric chemistry from Harvard University, postdoc'd at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and did a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the US Environmental Protection Agency.
