The Scientific and Engineering Student Internship (SESI) | The SESI program is a joint program with the Physics Department of the Catholic University of America (CUA), ASD/GSFC and Science and Exploration Directorate at GSFC. The High School Internship Program (HIP) | The purpose of this program is to engage high school students in 'real-time' applications of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a research-focused work world. Interns will learn more about space exploration in general and GSFC-specific areas of earth science, space science, engineering, and technology. The program runs for 8 weeks. | None Listed |
The Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP) | The NASA IV&V Facility hosts the Science and Engineering Apprentice Program (SEAP). Students who usually possess a diverse background and have interest in science, technology, mathematics, and engineering, work closely with scientists and engineers who act as their mentors. The program offers students a unique and positive experience in their fields of interest, thus encouraging them to pursue careers in science and engineering. To participate in this program at the NASA IV&V Facility, applicants must be U.S. citizens and provide their own form of transportation for the duration of the internship. The National Space Club Scholars Program | The purpose of this program is to provide students with an opportunity to experience how research and development organizations operate on a day-to-day basis.
