Brief Bio

As head of the Goddard Earth Science Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC), manages the NASA Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) responsible for providing access to a wide range of global climate data, including atmospheric composition and dynamics, global precipitation, solar irradiance, and modeled assimilation and reanalysis datasets. Previously served as program manager at NASA Headquarters for proposal solicitations to improve and extend NASA's distributed Earth science information infrastructure, and also coordinated several multi-agency Initiatives in collaboration with the Office of Science and Technology Policy, NOAA, and the USGS. Previously at the USGS Center for Earth Observation and Science, served as project scientist for the Land Processes DAAC, and as lead contract scientist for the Science Office of the Landsat Data Continuity Mission.
