Brief Bio

Dr. Privé completed a B.S. in mechanical engineering at University of Maryland, College Park, followed by an M.S. and Sc.D. in meteorology at MIT. Her thesis work was on the dynamics of the Hadley circulation and monsoons. From 2005 to 2011, she worked on Observing System Simulation Experiments in support of the NOAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program at NOAA/ESRL. In 2011, Dr. Privé joined GESTAR to continue working on OSSEs at the NASA Global Modelling and Assimilation Office.
