Brief Bio

I am ground systems engineer for flight missions at Goddard. My primary interest is to build hardware and software for mass spectrometers. A few of the missions that I am working on are SEAL, LEMS, GDC, DISSIPATION, and GDC. Some of those missions are already launched. I build mass spectrometers that fly to the Moon and the planet Mars to study the relative abundance of atmospheric constituents such as N2, O2, CO2, Ar, etc.

I also worked for the astrophysics department where my work was focused on building an atomic layer deposition reactor to deposit special kinds of films in order to construct a mirror for imaging galactic halos.

Prior to working for Goddard, I was a graduate student researcher at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. I researched solving NP-Hard problems using the electrical circuit approach. Also, my initial exposure to the research field was during my days at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research where I was involved in researching nano-scale devices for studying device physics.

Positions/Employment
