  • Brief Bio

I am a scientific programmer with a background in hydrology and geoscience. I am passionate about open source tools, data, and generating useful data visualizations and services with Python. I am a contractor with SSAI at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and I work on the Data Tools and Services team as well as the JEDI/EWOK workflow team.

    Current Projects

    FLUID

Part of my time is allocated towards developing and maintaining visualization tools and data delivery services via the Framework for Live User-Invoked Data (FLUID). Within this framework I aim to improve delivery for more on-demand visualizations and data download options that offer greater flexibility for researchers and decision makers who use our tools.

You can find the GMAO FLUID service here.

    JEDI/EWOK Workflow Project

The purpose of this project is to implement a new methodology for setting up and running experiments using GMAO models. The goal is to use the newly developed EWOK workflow system to create accessible tools for researchers to easily run these experiments without requiring in-depth knowledge about the operation and development of the models themselves.
