    Teaching Experience

During the 2014-2015 academic year at the University of Colorado Boulder, I was the Lead Graduate Teacher for the Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences Department. I was trained in academic management and leadership, pedagogy, course assessment, interdisciplinary teamwork, and teaching consultations. I co-led new graduate teaching assistant training for the APS department.

I taught introductory astronomy classes for undergraduates at the University of Colorado Boulder during the summer. ASTR 1200: Stars & Galaxies (Summer 2013, 2014) and ASTR 1000: The Solar System (Summer 2014).

For 7 semesters in graduate school at the University of Colorado Boulder, I was the teaching assistant for the observational astronomy courses. I taught observing, data reduction, and analysis techniques in ASTR 3510: Observations & Instrumentation I. Imaging (Fall 2012, 2013, 2014) and ASTR 3520: Observations & Instrumentation II. Spectroscopy (Spring 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016). I also developed a lab manual for ASTR 3510.
