Ms. Tarshish performs system administration on the SGI DMF mass storage system, including troubleshooting, upgrade planning and monitoring disk and tape utilization, as well as other metrics. She also performs system administration of disk arrays, tape drives, and robotic tape systems attached to the mass storage system, including the silo automated cartridge system library software and the Sun Ultra 10 that it runs on.
