Brief Bio

I am a theoretical astrophysicist working in the field of galaxy formation. My researches focus on exploiting state-of-the-art cosmological simulations to study the formation and evolution of galaxies and clusters of galaxies. Of particular interest, I'm using cosmological simulations to explore the effect of feedback driven by super-massive black hole (SMBH) on hot atmospheres ranging from hot inter-stellar medium (ISM), circum-galactic medium (CGM), to intra-cluster medium (ICM). Such SMBH-driven feedback is considered to play essential role in not only shaping thermodynamical & chemical properties of galaxies but also in quenching their star formation.
