Dr. Swara Ravindranath is the Deputy Chief Scientist for the Cosmic Origins Program. Dr. Ravindranath's research interests include understanding the emergence of the first galaxies and the process of reionization, the formation and evolution of galaxies across cosmic time, and the coevolution of supermassive black holes and their host galaxies. Dr. Ravindranath served as an Instrument Scientist on the Commissioning Team and as the Deputy Lead on the Science Instruments Calibration Team for the James Webb Space Telescope at the Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore.
