Brief Bio
Under the NASA Astrobiology Program, my research focuses on biosignatures on icy ocean worlds in our solar system. I study the potential for preservation of microbial material and its chemical traces in cryovolcanoes that connect hidden oceans beneath the crust of icy moons and dwarf planets to the surface and plumes. My background is in biotechnology, with research focused on microbial adaptation and photosynthesis under environmental stress and extreme conditions.
