Monojit is a Graduate Research Assistant with the Cryospheric Sciences Division at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and a Ph.D. candidate in Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland. His research focuses on satellite altimetry, with a particular emphasis on enhancing near-coastal sea ice measurements using data from NASA's ICESat-2 mission. Monojit is also deeply interested in leveraging deep learning techniques and multi-sensor data fusion to advance the capabilities of current satellite observations. His work aims to push the boundaries of innovation in remote sensing and provide valuable insights for the development of future Earth observation missions.
