Brief Bio


Dr. Mitchell is a research scientist as a member of the Energetic Particle Laboratory within the Heliospheric Science Division at NASA/GSFC. He was previously a NASA postdoctoral research fellow under the NASA Postdoctoral Program award. He completed his PhD in 2022 through the George Washington University Department of Physics performing his research at NASA/GSFC. Dr. Mitchell's research interests include the study of solar energetic particles and the development of neutron spectrometers for space applications.
