Brief Bio
I am a physicist and software engineer specializing in real-time science operations and data systems for NASA’s Artemis program. Currently, my work focuses on building the full-stack software foundations needed for lunar exploration. This includes developing data downlink and delivery frameworks within the ASTRO group for Artemis III and beyond, as well as collaborating across centers through the ARTIS working group. By bridging the gap between scientific research and mission software, I strive to ensure our tools seamlessly support both the scientists in the backroom and the astronauts on the surface and in orbit.
Beyond software architecture, I am deeply involved in scientific instrumentation and field research. Previously, I supported the Artemis II Lunar Science Team from the Science Evaluation Room and helped evaluate EVA crew autonomy during RISE2 analog field testing. Whether I am aiding development in crew-facing web interfaces or analyzing real-time geochemical data, I am passionate about engineering the systems that will drive the next era of human spaceflight.
Current Projects
ASTRO (Artemis Software Tools and Real-time Operations)
Core developer for the Science Ground Data System (SGDS), building the data downlink and delivery framework that will process science data for Artemis III and future missions.
ARTIS (Artemis Resource and Technology Information System)
Contributing to the cross-center working group to establish the software foundation and architecture for upcoming Artemis science objectives.
QuERI (Quantitative Elemental Reconnaissance Instrument)
Assisting in the hardware development, CAD design, and thermal vacuum testing of a handheld XRF-based instrument designed for use by Artemis astronauts on the lunar surface.

As a Support Scientist and named member of the Artemis II Lunar Science Team's Crew Lunar Observations (CLO) subteam, I design and engineer software for real-time science operations. Operating out of the Science Evaluation Room (SER) and Science Mission Operations Room (SMOR), I build full-stack web applications—such as the Live Encounters Guide (LEG) and the Transcript Readout Tool Launcher (TRTL)—that process and deliver hundreds of gigabytes of downlink data to the science team. My work directly facilitates the Lunar Targeting Plan (LTP), providing the interactive tools uplinked to the spacecraft to guide the crew's lunar surface observations.
