Dr. Jack Tarricone is a snow hydrologist and a NASA Postdoctoral (NPP) Fellow at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in the Hydrological Sciences Laboratory. Before joining Goddard, he received his PhD in Hydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2023. His research focuses on improving our understanding of the water cycle in snow-dominated areas by synergistically combining satellite data, in-situ measurements, and modeling. His recent work with the NASA SnowEx campaign involves developing and implementing remote sensing techniques to estimate mountain snowpack properties and fluxes at various spatial and temporal scales.
