Brief Bio

• I am an expert in scientific visualization.

• I am a core developer of Kamodo, a python toolkit for visualization of simulation output and observational data.

• I have decades of experience with the Tecplot visualization package for space physics applications, creating many different graphics and movies for colleagues and team members.

• I have created many web tools to access and create visualizations.

• I am the original author of the BATSRUS magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) model and core contributer to the Space Weather Modeling Framework (SWMF). Both of these are high performance parallel computing models that exhibit near perfect scaling from 1 to hundreds of thousands of cores.

• I also have significant experience with metadata creation and curation.
