Sean McCartney is an Earth Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. He is currently supporting NASA's Applied Remote Sensing Training (ARSET) program, which trains scientists and policymakers to use NASA satellite and model data for decision-making through specialized training related to air quality, agriculture, disasters, water resource management, and ecological conservation. His professional focus combines Earth Science and remote sensing expertise with workforce development through comprehensive training programs to enhance technical capabilities of individuals and institutions in applying NASA Earth Science data.
