This role involved preparing and implementing unit and daily lesson plans, maintaining a comfortable and technologically-suitable environment, and continuing improvement of the current curriculum within the Earth and space sciences. He served as the Saturday School Discipline instructor and was the faculty advisor for the Envirothon Team.

Mr. Campbell worked as a contractor with Code 610, Earth Sciences Division’s Hydrospheric and Biospheric Sciences, at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and served as the Laboratory public liaison for education, flight, field, and research projects. He prepared and reported on education performance metrics, provided educator training, presented at/develops workshops and conferences, and served as the Laboratory liaison for the Earth Science Division's education, outreach, and public relations effort by forming Division-wide plans, objectives, and goals as they relate to Earth System Science mandates and NASA HQ education priorities. He also worked with universities, K-12 schools, science centers, periodicals, and television to promote the science and education activities of the Laboratory and serves on the Earth Science Division's Formal Education Working Group and the NASA Explorer School's Steering Committee. He is the Earth Science education and communication point-of-contact at Wallops and serves as the education lead for the ICESat-2 Mission, Lead for the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign, and the Trees Science Lead for the GLOBE Observer Program, all part of the NASA Science Activation Program’s NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative (NESEC). He was the lead for the GLOBE SMAP Soil Moisture Measurement Field Campaign and lead for the GLOBE ENSO Student Research Campaign.
