Lucas is a Scientific Software Developer at NASA’s Goddard Earth Sciences Data Information Services Center GES DISC. He has a PhD in Atmospheric Science from UC Davis in the Cloud Physics Research Group, as well as bachelors degrees in Atmospheric Sciences and Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota. He's passionate about open science and open source software and wants to make science and data findable, accessible, and equitable for all.
