Brief Bio

Pam Wales joined the Global Modeling and Assimilation Office in 2019 as a postdoctoral fellow before transitioning to her position as a GESTAR research scientist. Her research interests include the representation of atmospheric chemistry and composition in global models, with a focus on stratospheric trace gases. She contributes to the validation and monitoring of stratospheric constituents within the GEOS Composition Forecast (GEOS-CF) modeling system using remote sensing observations.
