Brief Bio

Lisa Milani is a UMD-ESSIC Assistant Research Scientist currently working under cooperative agreement for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD. Lisa does research in snowfall Remote Sensing using GPM and CloudSat sensors data. In particular in the last few years she has been working on shallow convective snowfall on global and regional scales, using active and passive microwave sensors globally and over the US Great Lakes region.
