Brought to you by the New Opportunities Office (NOO)

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of the process of developing a mission from concept to proposal at Goddard. It is aimed at all Goddard scientists (civil servants and non-civil servants) who may be Principal Investigators and Co-Investigators of competitively-selected missions. The concepts and processes covered in this workshop will have particular emphasis on Explorer-class missions but are generally applicable. Some of the topics to be covered include an overview of mission types, developing your science case, the science traceability matrix, the proposal development process, costing a mission and developing a schedule, cost validation and the Goddard and HQ review processes.
