     Dr. Yan Zhang is the assistant scientist in the Climate and Radiation Lab. She joined GSFC in 2010 with GEST/UMBC and now with GESTAR/MSU. She conducts research on aerosol inter-continental transport and impact of aerosol on climate and air quality by using remote sensing satellite measurements and Chemical Transport Model outputs.

    Dr. Zhang holds Ph.D degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Gerogia Institute of Techonology and B. Sc in Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Physics from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. For more details please download her CV.
