    Currently, coordinating MODIS Atmosphere team science algorithm development and testing while supporting product QA and product distribution.

    Previously, developed line-by-line and parameterized models of atmospheric radiative transfer for application to satellite remote sensing, climate studies and numerical modeling. Performed high spectral resolution reference calculations to validate parameterized atmospheric radiation models. Contributed to the development of widely used codes, including MODTRAN, FASCODE and Monte Carlo radiative transport models. Developed atmospheric radiative-convective energy balance models to enable studies of cloudy planetary boundary layer processes.
