    Dr. Thomas Hearty is an Atmospheric Scientist at the NASA Goddard Earth Sciences Data Information and Services Center (GES DISC).  He supports the archiving, distribution, and use of data from the AIRS, CrIS, OCO-2, and CMS missions .  Dr. Hearty has developed calibration and retrieval algorithms that are used by the AIRS operational data processing programs.  He has also performed statistical analyses of geophysical parameters from satellite observations, reanalysis products, and models including AIRS, OCO-2, MODIS, GOSAT, ISCCP, MERRA, ECMWF and CMIP5 and contributed to the development of web based tools to assist with analysis of these data products.
