    Planetary and Earth atmospheres (composition, thermal structure, dynamics); Spectroscopic Studies of Solar System Objects, the Sun, Stars, and Interstellar Medium; Infrared Astronomy; Stratospheric Research; Molecular Spectroscopy, Infrared Heterodyne Spectroscopy, Quantum Cascade and Diode Laser Spectroscopy; Infrared Upconversion Techniques, Nonlinear Optics and Spectroscopy, Infrared and Submillimeter Lasers, Experimental Solid State Physics, Electron Spin Resonance and Electronic Spin Echo investigations, Relaxation Phenomena in Solids, RF, mm, submm-wave technology; Remote Sensing Techniques. Small and CUBESAT satellite optical and spectroscopic systems using carbon nanotube mirrors.
