I am the Chief Scientist of NASA's Cosmic Origins Program. My research interests include the formation and evolution of galaxies as well as new technologies to explore the universe, including adaptive optics, interferometry and detectors. I enjoy communicating the wonder of discovery and the importance and relevance of science to our daily lives and society.
