  • Brief Bio

    Liang Hong received the B.S. degree in Electronics engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 1999, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2008. Since 2006, he has been supporting the instrument testing, mission operation and data processing of the Aquarius project, a joint sea surface salinity mission between NASA and CONAE, the space agency of Argentina.

    Research Interests

    His research experiences and interests include microwave radiative transfer model, radiometer internal and cross instrument calibrations.

    Aquarius calibration and data processing; VIIRS data processing quality check; Salinity data processing.
