    Dr. Erika Simon is a scientist at the Cryospheric Sciences Laboratory at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. She is focusing on the development of scientific algorithms to further develop and maintain the Cryosphere model Comparison tool (CmCt). She is developing a comprehensive validation framework for the PolarMERRA project, an initiative to help produce a new, polar-focused, atmospheric reanalysis in collaboration with the NASA's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO). She is also involved with the international Ice Sheet Model Intercomparison Project-6 (ISMIP6) program.

    Previously, she worked on managing, processing, and interpreting complex geophysical data and supervised related projects.
