    Dr. Delphine Nna Mvondo is currently a NPP Senior Fellow working in the Astrochemistry Laboratory (code 691) at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. She is a chemist, experimentalist, currently studying in laboratory the formation, optical properties and chemistry of Titan's stratospheric ice clouds observed by CIRS instrument during the Cassini mission exploring the Saturn system. She is part of the Spectroscopy for Planetary ICes Environments (SPICE) laboratory, and perform the ice experiments using the SPECtroscospy of Titan-Related ice AnaLogs (SPECTRAL) high-vacuum chamber.

    Her main research has been developed in multidisciplinary areas of planetary science and astrobiology. She has used her specific knowledge in chemistry to discuss various scientific questions by experimental approaches and analytical methods.

    The major themes of her previous research have been:
    - The prebiotic chemical synthesis in the atmospheres of primitive Earth and Mars
    - The primitive volcanic sources as favorable environments for the emergence of life
    - The abiotic chemistry induced by meteoritic impact shocks processes in the icy surfaces of Europa and Titan
    - The chemical reactivity at the surface of Titan (interaction and fate of the atmospheric aerosols on the icy surface and in the hydrocarbons lakes)
    - The formation and spectroscopic detection of mixed clathrate hydrates on Titan surface.
