    Carolyn Ng is an education specialist in the Heliophysics Science Division who also supports the Heliophysics Data Portal. She is responsible for a number of outreach activities and internship programs. Prior to the current position, she was an acquisition scientist for the National Space Science Data Center. Since 2000 she has co-led the Sun-Earth Day program that brings space science content to many educators, museums, parks and the general public. She partnered with the City University of New York (CUNY) on internships, educator training, and use of heliophysics data in the classroom. For two consecutive summers she was the co-Investigator of a College Freshman Internship Program. More recently she manages a high school work-study program during the school year that provides several underserved students with authentic research opportunities in Heliophysics. She is the Principal Investigator for the Space Weather Living History project.
