Brief Bio

I'm an oceanographer interested in ocean biogeochemistry and ocean color remote sensing. I'm currently a research scientist in the Ocean Ecology Branch Field Support Group. My current research focuses on in situ measurement protocols and uncertainty estimation in support of ocean color calibration and validation. I’m also interested in GPU-accelerated computing and visualization, machine learning, data science, and open source software. I’ve participated in various NASA co-sponsored oceanographic expeditions to all major ocean basins.
