Brief Bio

Hsiang-Yu Huang is an Assistant Research Scientist working at the Surface-sensing Measurements for Atmospheric Radiative Transfer Laboratory (SMARTLabs) at NASA/GSFC through ESSIC at the University of Maryland. Dr. Huang has focused on ground-based site operations and management, including operation/maintenance of remote sensing (e.g., NASA AERONET/MPLNET/SMART-s) and in situ instruments for international field deployments (e.g., 7-SEAS, ASIA-AQ). The currently working to initiate and provide scientific research on the ground-based SMARTLabs mobile facility, used for Cal/Val in the airborne/space-borne mission and innovative research on the radiative effects of aerosols/clouds on regional climate.
