Brief Bio


Flasar's primary research is the dynamic meteorology of planetary atmospheres, including those of Mars, the giant planets, and Saturn’s moon Titan. He was a co-investigator on the Voyager infrared spectroscopy experiment (IRIS), a member of the Galileo Radio Propagation team, and a Participating Scientist on the Mars Global Surveyor Radio Science team. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Cassini Radio Science team and an investigator (principal investigator since 2002) on the Cassini Composite Infrared Spectrometer experiment.
