NASA's Ocean Biology Processing Group supports the collection, processing, calibration, and validation of ocean-color and sea-surface-temperature products for a variety of missions including CZCS, OCTS, SeaWiFS, MERIS, MODIS, VIIRS, OLCI, HawkEye, and HICO. These activities are supported within the framework and facilities of the current NASA Ocean Data Processing System (ODPS), which has been successfully supporting satellite-based remote-sensing missions since 1996. The group's capabilities continue to evolve and expand to meet the demands and challenges of future missions.
