Over thirty years experience with NASA serving as an oceanographer specializing primarily in ocean color remote sensing. In addition to his science, educational and data system development activities, his management responsibilities include having served as SeaWiFS Project manager and currently serving as Project Manager for NASA's Ocean Salinity Mapping Mission, Aquarius.
