Brief Bio


Dr. Ian Stuart Adams is the Earth Sciences Division Technologist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and is responsible for managing the division's Earth observation technology portfolio. Dr. Adams' research is focused on active and passive microwave remote sensing of the Earth, particularly of clouds and precipitation. He is the PI of the Configurable Scanning Submillimeter-wave Instrument/Radiometer (CoSSIR), and he is the project instrument scientist for the Atmosphere Observing System (AOS) microwave radiometers.
