Brief Bio

Linda is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center of the University of Maryland, working at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center focusing on spaceborne retrieval of snow. She earned her Master’s degree in Climate Physics from Utrecht University (the Netherlands), after which she pursued a PhD at Wageningen University in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI). During her PhD, she focused on enhancing the accuracy of spaceborne precipitation estimates, particularly those derived from radiometer observations.
