The Dirty Prep Lab featuring a centrifuge and oven

The Dirty Prep Laboratory serves as a sample processing and preparation space for samples that do not need to be kept organically 'clean' for later analyses. This space is mainly used for clay separation and rock/mineral/sediment processing and/or separation.

The equipment in this lab includes:

  • Centrifuge
  • Finger sonicator
  • Drying oven
  • Vacuum oven
  • Vacuum Pump
  • Mortars & Pestles
