The Clean Prep Laboratory is used for the preparation of geochemical materials that require a clean environment to prevent contamination from other samples or people during sample preparation and processing.

Laboratory equipment includes:

  • Mettler-Toledo balances
  • large muffle furnace used for ashing
  • Thermo Nicolet iS50 FTIR Spectrometer
