- Solar physics observations and data analysis of spectroscopic and imaging
  observations from the YOHKOH, SOHO, TRACE missions of the source regions of the 
  solar wind, the lower solar atmosphere, coronal loops and flares.

-  Instrument operations and planning for CDS and SUMER on SOHO.

-  Instrument assessment studies for future missions.

-  Hydrodynamic simulations of coronal loops and solar flares.

-  MHD simulations of coronal loop heating.
