Mona received her Ph.D. in Physics in 1986 from the University of Kansas. From there she went to the Mullard Space Science Laboratory in England where she worked as a Research Scientist for 4 years, analyzing data from the AMPTE-UKS and Giotto missions and preparing for the Cluster mission for which she remains a co-I. Since then she has been at Goddard working in code 630 helping with data aspects of ISTP/SEC and continuing research in magnetospheric physics. She recently returned to MSSL for 2 summers on a Goddard fellowship to work on Cluster data and a ULF wave study that is the topic today.
