Dr. Daniel Berdichevsky, received his degree of Licenciado en Física 
from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Rosario, Argentina, in 
1971, Diplom Physiker, and Dr. rer nat in "Theoretische Physik" from 
the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gieben, Gieben, Germany in 1978 and 
1982 respectively. He has studied shocks and the solar wind plasma 
environment at shocks and applied the results to the connection of 
shocks with their drivers and the observational identification of 
shock heating, acceleration, and energetic particle-wave interaction. 
Recently in relation to current magnetic cloud modeling discussed the 
dynamics of 1-D and 2-D analytical solutions to the ideal MHD theory, 
the results have been  presented in Physical Review E, 2003.
