Brief Bio
I'm an assistant research scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) with the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In Fall 2011 I also served as a lecturer at the University of Maryland College Park. Before that, I was NPP fellow with Tod Strohmayer at GSFC, and before that, I was a graduate student in the physics department at McGill University with Vicky Kaspi. My work focuses on X-ray observations of neutron stars. In particular I am interested in an unusual class of neutron stars known as "magnetars".
