This year's Excellence in Information Science and Technology award goes to Horace Mitchell, Director of the Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS) in the Software Integration & Technology Office (610.3). Horace is being recognized for leading the SVS in producing visualizations of NASA scientific data for use in public media outlets using many processes from the film and animation industry. Congratulations to Horace on this recognition by the center of his contributions!
