Shawn Otto, author, filmmaker, and science advocate

Abstract: Join author, filmmaker, and science advocate Shawn Otto at a brown-bag colloquium on April 11, 12-1. Otto will discuss the intersection of NASA science and public policy and provide useful communication tips for scientists. Otto organized a national science debate between Barak Obama and John McCain in 2008. He is the writer and co-producer of the film, House of Sand and Fog. His book, Fool me Twice: Fighting the Assault on Science in America, was published in October 2011.
