    Noah Petro first became interested in Geology as a student at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY. It was while he was a student at Bates College that he was introduced to the field of planetary geology. Following his PhD work at Brown University he came to NASA Goddard as a NASA Post-Doc.

    Noah enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Nationals, and trying new foods.

    Lunar geology, impact cratering, remote sensing, planetary regoliths, education and public outreach

    Noah is the Deputy Project Scientist for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission, currently orbiting the Moon.
